Scouts just finished hiking and camping in the grand canyon, reflecting on a memorable ten-day journey through the stunning landscapes of the Southwest. They explored many sites like the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park, and of course Las Vegas creating lasting memories along the way.

With another great summer camp complete, we had an amazing time. Even though many days reached temperatures above 90 degrees, the scouts stayed positive, took on every challenge, and made the most of every moment. In the end, everyone had a fantastic time and created memories that will last for years to come.

Throughout the weekend, the Scouts took part in hands-on activities, challenges, and demonstrations inspired by the eras that shaped our nation — from the spirit of 1776 to the innovations and ideals that guide us today.

The April Campout at the Sleeping Giant State park was in late April and was an exciting fun trip with amazing scenery and that had many opportunity’s to practice camping skills.
